In society, fitting in is surviving.
You wear the same clothes as those around you. Strove to have the same body. Work to have just the right amount of spunk and the right amount of kindness. Work to fit in with the crowd, to blend in with the people that surround you.
We judge when we see one thing different about one person. It’s an instinct, it really is. The wrong clothes, wrong body, wrong height, wrong personality. All things that are nearly impossible to change, because you like them.
You like your body, your clothes, your personality, your height, but others may not. You now want to change, even though the ones who you love, don’t care.
Don’t try to fit in, because you are who YOU are. No matter how hard you try, you’ll always end up being you, and that’s not a bad thing. Changing who you are, isn’t going to make life any easier. Someone will find something else to shame you about, so:
Be yourself, and don’t pretend to be something your not.
